The North Face® Altamesa 500 V2 GORE-TEX® Shoe is a premium trainer that’s designed to keep your feet dry when the environment gets wet. The durable ripstop nylon upper comes with a non-PFC durable water-repellent (non-PFC DWR) finish for added water repellency, PFAS-free GORE-TEX® Invisible Fit waterproof membrane, thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) overlays in high-friction areas, and lightweight reinforced toe cap designed for protection. Gaiter-compatible attachment points, racing laces with serrated edges help keep shoes tied, and an integrated lace shroud lets you tuck and store laces when conditions are cold and wet. A full-length, ultralight, maximum performance DREAMBOUND nitrogen-TPU foam midsole provides high energy return. Plus, the wider underfoot platform provides inherent stability and a SURFACE CTRL rubber outsole with 4 mm lugs provides enhanced traction and durability on trail terrain.
